L’Occitane Group CEO Resigns

Laurent Marteau leaves to follow ‘personal projects.’

Laurent Marteau, L’Occitaine Group CEO, has stepped down to focus on “personal pursuits.”
 
Marteau joined L’Occitane as Group MD in 2022 and served as the Group’s CEO for only five months when the CEO and Group MD responsibilities were combined
 
A successor has not been named, however, for the time being, a transitional management team has been set up called the “Office of the Chief Executive.”
 
A statement from the company said,
 
“Mr. Marteau’s resignation reflects his desire to focus more on his personal pursuits as well as other business interests. The board sincerely thanks Mr. Marteau for his service and contribution to the company and wishes him well in his future endeavors.”
